Workshop on Bandhas, Kriyas, and Breath – techniques of Hatha Yoga
Join yoga teacher Jessica Sharry for this special workshop. You will learn a variety of yogic breathing techniques intended to purify and balance both body and mind, according to the ancient system of Hatha Yoga. Once learned, these techniques can serve as a stand-alone practice or as a compliment to any asana-based yoga practice. This workshop is of special interest to students of Ashtanga yoga, as you will develop a deeper understanding and experience of bandha.
All levels of yoga students are welcome. It is recommend that students have some sort of regular asana-practice in place, as you will need to be comfortable sitting for extended periods of time. Not recommended for pregnant women.
