A weekend of wellness for BIPOC

A two-day workshop for BIPOC to heal in community together. We’ll move, breath, write and hold space for one another so that we might all exhale a bit deeper and tap into the joy and resilience that’s part of our indigenous wisdom.

In the interest of holding healing space for all those who experience race-based stress and trauma, this event invites both self-identified BIPOC and non-Black POC.  However, the priority of care will go to people of African descent who experience anti-Black racism in all the ways it shows up.

Timetable of the workshop:

Friday 18.9 4pm-6pm: Introduction, Healing circle, Restorative yoga + Breathing.

Saturday 19.9 11am-1pm: Ashtanga Yoga for ease, grace, strength and fluidity.

There is an option to continue practice with Wambui after the workshop in an 8 week class package (23.9 – 11.11; 11-12:15pm)

Wambui teaches mainly in English. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Prices:

Workshop: 49/44€

8x weekly class pass: 110/95€

Workshop + class combo: 139/119€.

Hyvinvointiviikkonloppu -kurssi BIPOC-ihmisille

Kaksipäiväinen työpaja BIPOC- sekä POC-yhteisöön kuuluville. Työpajassa syvennymme liikkeen, kirjoittamisen ja hengityksen avulla sukujuurtemme viisauteen.

Aikataulu:

Pe 18.9 klo. 16-18: johdanto, restoratiivinen jooga + hengitysharjoitukset

La 19.9 klo. 11-13: rentouttava ja vahvistava astangajooga

Halutessasi voit jatkaa harjoittelua Wambuin kanssa kahdeksalla viikkotunnilla (ke 13.9-11.11 klo. 11-12:15).

Työpaja ja viikkotunnit pidetään pääosin englanniksi. Paikalle pääsee myös pyörätuolilla.
